A Procreate artwork that aims to beautifully blend traditional methods with modern tools, depicting two trains from a vanishing point perspective.
I'm happy to share with you a piece I've been working on in Procreate, inspired by the charm and simplicity of traditional art. The image features a pair of trains passing each other, drawn from a vanishing point perspective, which I hope captures a sense of movement and perspective. To maintain the spirit of traditional techniques, I chose not to use selection tools or maskings in its creation. It's mostly sketched out with a digital version of a Bakersville ink pen, an attempt to mimic the classic ink on paper look. I experimented a bit with the sky, though, using both flat and cloud brushes for variety. While I'm still learning and growing as an artist, this piece represents a step forward in my journey, showing how traditional art concepts can blend with digital tools. I hope you enjoy viewing it as much as I did creating it.
